And Thus Does it Begin...

Hello World,

I am Sean Martin. I haven't really seen many different blogs, but my mum wont shut up about the damn things, so I am writing this one. She thinks that I'm going to be world famous some day and I can turn this thing into a book and make millions of dollars.

I just want to do this because it seemed like a fun thing to do. I enjoy writing and communicating, so this should be a fun experience.

I guess I should say a little bit about myself. I am an aspiring chef, hence the name of the blog, and I am currently looking for a job in the restaurant business. I graduated high school two months ago, and I have been looking for a restaurant job in a half-assed sort of way ever since. Today I decided to actually start searching seriously, so I have made a goal to apply to at least one restaurant every day. I love all kinds of food and cuisine. I cannot decide whether I want to cater or work in a restaurant, but I think that question will remain unanswered for a few years to come (which is okay with me).

I also play a little bit of guitar, but I've been slacking in that department for the last few months. I have been listening to more music recently, so I am going to start practicing more often.

I have a wonderful girlfriend named Kelsey and a very supportive best friend named Nick. Nick and I have been friends since age five or so. We had a little break a few years ago, but luckily we got over it.

My mother is a very helpful woman named Melanie who has a laugh like a barking seal and nags in the greatest way. My dad is a capable man named John. He can fix anything, and he showed me everything I know about cars.

So there is a little bit about me.
